Why is this called a "tank" if it needs an additional auxiliary vehicle to bypass so insignificant obstacles?

Now this is an embarrassment for President Bola Tinubu and his Service Chiefs. An uneducated terrorists leader, Bello Turji and his boys celebrating as they took over armoured personnel carrier (armoured bunker) with lots of ammunitions. Turji is even sending a warning to Nigerian Soldiers that he's coming for them.

In this 1945 British newsreel, tanks are raced across a three-mile, all-terrain course at a proving ground in an undisclosed location. According to the narrator, the course was designed to 'strain the tanks to their utmost'. Film: IWM WPN 221

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Since the summer of 2025, Russia has been developing a new up armoured / highly mobile logistical vehicle that can compete in drone warfare. Now, the Ulan-2 vehicle has begun mass production and were are seeing it be sent to the frontline in large quantities. Its basically an armoured buggy, that can carrying a lot of supplies.

🚨🇷🇺Russia’s new military vehicle sets a world record in battlefield engineering Russia has introduced a new combat engineering vehicle called the UBIM. It was built by Uralvagonzavod, part of the state-owned Rostec corporation, and is now being used by Russian engineering troops. ▪️Built on the same chassis as the T-90M tank, the UBIM combines three jobs in one vehicle: recovering stuck or damaged vehicles, clearing obstacles, and ploughing through minefields. No other vehicle in the world does all three. ▪️It’s designed for frontline combat. The UBIM can clear minefields, smash through enemy fortifications, tow damaged tanks under fire, and operate in areas contaminated by chemical or nuclear weapons. ▪️It comes with advanced cameras, thermal imaging, strong armour, and a 1,130-horsepower engine. These features give Russian forces a major advantage in intense, high-level warfare.

Gone are the days when our people applying for National ID would be taken through an obstacle course to prove their eligibility and earn their belonging. If you have a child currently in school who's turning 18, inform them that a team is on its way to make them proud.

SAAB has revealed its new round for Carl Gustaf, the HEAT 758, a Heat-Tandem round with up to 700mm of penetration behind ERA. According to Michael Höglund, head of Saab’s business unit Ground Combat: “This round is our response of developments of the battlefield where reactive explosive armour has become a major problem for regular munitions trying to defeat armoured vehicles. HEAT 758 is an example of how Saab continues to generate ever more capable products while decreasing the armoured vehicle threat to the operator,” The new round has already been ordered by an anonymous client and is in production.

Companies are going way too far to try and sell you products Just to buy 2 new windows, a company came out and said you have to - Do a 3 window minimum even through you only need 2 - Sit through a 90 minute presentation on the history of the company, the founder, their story - A presentation on windows, how windows work and why their windows are different - A pitch on the state of the economy and inflation - A horrible negotiation experience on the cost of the actual windows This is actually happening at a lot of places. A similar experience of mine was I literally went to get an oil change at Mountain View tires and they wanted me to come out to the car and go over a full vehicle diagnostic that they would first need to take over an hour doing. They said it was policy It’s all to upsell you. Even places like valvoline make you do a full vehicle inspection now so they can go over it with you and upsell you on repairs
