Jake, our dogs look alot a alike. Mine was a rescue as well.

This is Windsor I renamed him Wynn. He was in a hoarding situation 4 years ago in Mercer County Illinois. The woman had 200 collies and shelties. if I would’ve known how messed up he was I would have never taken him in. I’m glad I didn’t know. He’s still messed up but baby steps

Trooper, such a sweet boy❤️! We have 2 rescued coonhounds as well! Hound dogs are the best! Trooper meet Harlow (Walker/Red tick). She recently turned 13 and Watson (Red tick) who turns 10 in a few days!

I lost my girl Ruby last week. My other dog is struggling now. The vet said we might have to get another dog to lift his spirits but I can’t do that now. Not even close. In time I will find another that needs a home but it’s just too raw right now.

I had a treeing walker coonhound and he was a wonderful dog. Wishing the best happy dog life for your boy Trooper.

It will be 11 years this Memorial Day weekend that I adopted my hound dog. He's nearly twelve years old now but people think he's a puppy. I think one of the reasons rescues are so special is because they do know you saved them. On their dog level they do know
