Renovation going well. Rooms look good - like the new Balconies.

That’s better than it looked when it was open.

The only casino in LV that got a good (“quite comfortable”) rating from 007 (Sean Connery no less) in Diamonds are Forever.

Is the guttting of the building and leaving the skeleton a way of removing the asbestos before implosion?

Never set a foot in that building and never cared for its architecture, but for some reason the whole thing feels kind of sad. I now understand the old-timers that felt sad to see demolition of places like Sands, etc

wow I knew they were tearing everything out of the towers. I didn't know they had already torn down most of the bungalow rooms already. i thought those were the ones with asbestos and were going to take more time due to that. also I feel like they are going really quick.

View from my Tropicana room after the rooms were redone. Beds were great and location top notch. Didn’t gamble there as the casino was lacking but still sad to see it go
