This, fellow Africans, is what we are talking about. How are these borders helping us? A truck in Russa or Europe or USA or Australia can travel 3000km without a stop except rest, across time zones, yet here we are saddled with stupid borders that facilitate our own suffering

It can't be true. No trucking business would move goods without GIT insurance. Again that's the first thing a company looks for before they enter into any logistics agreement with the transporter. Lastly there dashcam is evidence enough that these people are stuck.

Part 1. This is disgusting we rely on these truck drivers to move goods nationally & internationally. Their job must be incredibly hard and to hear that they are liable for stolen batteries etc is also very shocking. Truck companies out there need to comment on this.

Part 2. The border post being as busy as it is needs a truck stop so these guys can secure themselves first and their cargo second and have somewhere to rest and eat etc If they do not move the cargo the economy will suffer even more and more jobs will be lost.
