100% true. We encountered the NRA repeatedly in the Heller litigation as they did everything they could to sandbag our case right until the cert grant made SCOTUS review both inevitable and unavoidable. NRA’s ethically compromised behavior reminded me of nothing so much as govt.

The NRA has done tons to stand up for the rights of black gun owners. They didn’t choose to make a point of the Castile case because he wasn’t carrying legally. He was high and carrying, something both illegal and irresponsible.

This is dumb as hell. The NRA called for an investigation when Castile was shot. When it turned out he was a prohibited person due to his marijuana use, they couldn't support him carrying. Don't like that? Get weed legalized, something the NRA has nothing to do with.

NRA has literally nothing to say about the federal ban on gun ownership for medical marijuana patients.
