True family power!

This always made me laugh.

They are trying their best!

It also shows that the perfect family isn't really perfect at all. You notice throughout the episode that there are cracks happening and then it breaks. Not every family is perfect I tell you. Arnold's family isn't perfect but there is a bond that they all share.

My favorite part of the episode was the quote: "And the winner is Arnold... there seems to be a smudge over the last name." Followed by Stinky saying to Arnold: "That must be you, Arnold, on the count that you're the only kid named Arnold in this whole danged school"

I love how the other family started out all 'perfect' but they collapse as the game goes on. While Arnold's started out against each other but came together. And Arnold's may not be traditional. But numerous episode address how they were all family.

I've sometimes felt like that boy with glasses when my parents yell at me, though to be fair, my dad is NOTHING like that blowhard dad! (It seems Dan Castellaneta was a natural choice for voicing that dad!) I love the cheesy animation at 0:21.

I luv how Arnold's side showed sportsmanship,unlike their opponent who were the complete opposite; I mean instead of being supportive the father ordered them 2 show more muscle,the son was whining about how his hands were sore and the sister was being rude towards her sibiling

teamwork!

They were never going to win against Ernie. His low center of gravity basically made him an anchor for his team.
