The youths of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei came out in large numbers to witness the finals, celebrate together, and engage with us. Moments like this remind me why the grassroots matter so much. The people have identified with us, and we have identified with them. Their love, support, and belief in this movement continue to motivate us every day. A for Almajiri Education is the foundation of any functioning economy, and Nigerians are some of the most intelligent people in other countries but with most out of school children on planet earth. As a basic human right, it is the responsibility of the whole society to not only advocate for modern curriculums that have practical and realistic value in sustaining the economy of that society in the future, but to hold their leaders accountable when they don’t invest the appropriate resources and relevance into education. This is the reason why Almajiri still exists today in 21st century, while religious education and modern education can be attained together using curriculums that are realistic and set a foundation for the future of the students and their society. Today, I taught my primary 2 students how to make a PPT using iPads. Giving presentations and using smart devices are now common in professional work places and it’s important that start giving my kids those skill sets at a young age. It will build their work ethic, confidence, realistic expectations in life and navigate them to seamlessly fit into any professional environment they find themselves in now and the future. An important teaching approach I use here is to show them less of how to do it, and just throw them into the situation to see how they can find their ways and create solutions. Only when they need help is when we show them how to do it. It makes them used to problem solving, resilience, less likely to be lazy and dependent. A for Almajiri Education is the foundation of any functioning economy, and Nigerians are some of the most intelligent people in other countries but with most out of school children on planet earth. As a basic human right, it is the responsibility of the whole society to not only advocate for modern curriculums that have practical and realistic value in sustaining the economy of that society in the future, but to hold their leaders accountable when they don’t invest the appropriate resources and relevance into education. This is the reason why Almajiri still exists today in 21st century, while religious education and modern education can be attained together using curriculums that are realistic and set a foundation for the future of the students and their society. Today, I taught my primary 2 students how to make a PPT using iPads. Giving presentations and using smart devices are now common in professional work places and it’s important that start giving my kids those skill sets at a young age. It will build their work ethic, confidence, realistic expectations in life and navigate them to seamlessly fit into any professional environment they find themselves in now and the future. An important teaching approach I use here is to show them less of how to do it, and just throw them into the situation to see how they can find their ways and create solutions. Only when they need help is when we show them how to do it. It makes them used to problem solving, resilience, less likely to be lazy and dependent. I believe Mike is one of the most down to Earth and influential artists working today in art and technology. How he and his brother, Scott, push the boundaries of art, experience, participation inspires us to think and create in new dynamic ways. Not only is he pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and show us things we have never seen before, he cares deeply about other artists; His community! Mike lead millions of artists to think about NFTs in 2021 which was a huge first step for the future of preserving art. Now in 2026, with the patronage of NODE, the organization of phil, and the graciousness of Micky 🐸, it is genuinely gearing up to be a massive paradigm shift for an art movement as we live and breathe. I love finding artists that are really giving a lot of thought to how they are creating their art with AI and why. The most interesting way to think about AI art works I´ve come across lately is from Jason Handshsu: "I've been teaching a class on technology and it's forced me to really examine the topics at hand. Reading essays by established art historians in the late 1800's condemning photography as incapable of contributing to the knowledge of art, even 50 years after its invention, really highlights how easy it is for people to misidentify fundamentally what something can do. A lot of those interpretations in the past didn't recognize, at the heart of photography was the capturing of light, and that the exploration of photography inherently relies on modeling the behavior of light. With machine learning, what it captures is concepts. So in order to explore image generation, it requires a person to model the conceptual space of language and images". This idea is one step closer to finding the "what is this tool doing". Very excited to be collaborating with him for The present and future is pretty exciting.

The collaborative MMO Spirit Crossing started its Steam open beta today (no future wipes). I went in with low expectations and i think i'm in love. I LOVE the art style, game opens up a lot as you play (housing, friendships, quests, collectibles, progression) and it has a cool interaction system: you see other players as silhouettes, if you introduce yourself their characters fill in, you can chat and unlock more. It's been a long time since a cozy MMO captured me like this, i edited my first hour in 5 minutes to show how it opens up
