Nah, Claude's better than me now. I spent 15 years getting "good" and it's just better. I haven't written code in months. I just prompt the thing and it does a better job than I used to.

I literally had to do 60 iterations with Claude Code on a new feature last week until it got it right. That said, it still saved me like 2 weeks.

In my experience describing the problem vs. desired outcome fixes it 99% of the time + some background knowledge also helps haha

Definitely seems true based on some of the mods for games I have seen where it just feels like the dev has absolutely no idea how to properly fix the problems. They sometimes get it fixed, but everything about it feels like it's holding with duct tape and glue. Very unstable.

I just feed Claude back the logs a lot of the time honestly. Probably not the friendliest on tokens but it usually gets to the root of the issue quickly. If the logs suck, claude will normally suggest log improvements to better identify the issue. 5.0 does debug for you + more.
