The main reason why we critique Dalot more is because he actually makes costly mistakes multiple times a game. We all know every player misplace passes. Its the occasion that set Dalot apart

The only game where I feel he did a lot of bad was against West Ham, I was pissed too. I think even when he makes good defensive contributions they ignore it and focus on the misplaced pass or failed ball control

Dalot is too prone to mistakes that’s the problem. Every player makes mistakes but when your mistakes has cost the team on multiple occasions in the past, the spotlight is on you and any mistake you make again will be talked about.

Agreed but for instance against Liverpool, because he failed to shoot and misplaced a few pass he was criticised, meanwhile in that game he had more defensive contribution than any player, made the most tackles, and also final ball entries but on twitter they are saying he’s shit. Fair point. The mistakes from him have been consistent. However, I do agree that the criticism is exaggerated. Fair to say we saw a decent & consistent version of him under ETH but I think he has the opportunity now to reinvent himself under RA especially offensively.

It's not even length, it's repeated action (which is affected by length tbf). For example, if Halaand misses a chance, it would be a different reaction to if Garnacho missed a chance. Dalot's perceived repeated actions are more bad than good, hence the stick he gets.
