XD Aww~ That's so cute. I didn't get a say in my haircuts as a kid. My mom would always keep it over shoulder length because it was easier to maintain. Now I just let it grow out (might donate it once it reaches my hips). It is currently 30-32"

Omg that's awesome and sweet of you to be wanting to grow out your hair and eventually donate them! But damn that's one long hair! I wonder how do you maintain it 😫 do you use more shampoo when you have longer hair?

It ain't too bad. I try a get deep clean shampoos so I can minimize the amount I use. But It feels like I have to coat under and over my hair then use what I like to call a horse brush to get it all suds up. That and leave-in conditioner gets handy when I eventually brush it.

What a process 😭 but I guess it ain't that bad when you're used to it! I can imagine your hair must be really healthy! Tho I heard that in order to donate hair, the hair must be virgin (no bleach or dye ever) is that true or just a myth?

I’m not sure. Might depend on the salon/charity. My hair’s only “imperfection” was a high school year of chlorine, so I’m good lol. Overall, I think I do less than what others do with long hair, but I’m still proud of its heath :)
