As for Carmelo ? Well, it didn’t get better as he would struggle to get TV time, only getting wins against enhancement such as Tozawa or The Miz. Since April, of last year, Bron Breakker is a 2x Intercontinental Champion, apart of a new top heel faction and constantly battling main event wrestlers. Tiffany Stratton is the current Women’s Champion, a former Ms. MITB, and defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. Lyra Valkyria is a former Tag Team Champion, and was the inaugural Women’s International Champion. Carmelo ? He won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, and that’s it. I’m not going to get into the topic of race, as I’ve already stated my opinion on how Triple H books black male talent, but if you’re to say that Melo’s booking and utilization is on par with his contemporaries, you’re lying to yourself. This isn’t me bashing anyone else. Bron, Tiffy, and Lyra have all earned their success. I just want better for Carmelo Hayes, that’s all.
