“There is no viable reason to have a high-level political appointee during the execution of a search warrant,” CBS News election law contributor David Becker says of Tulsi Gabbard’s presence during the FBI search of a Georgia elections hub. On why the FBI would be taking ballots from the 2020 election, Becker says that “still has not been answered,” but he adds, “there was no crime committed in 2020. As California's ballots continue to be counted for its state primary, CBS News' election law expert David Becker says "a tremendous number of people drop their ballots off on Election Day," which is why a full count may take some time. "There's a huge number of ballots that were dropped off that day," he says. "And those ballots, of course, can't start to be validated until after that, until after election night, because they're reporting out everything else." He says that in Orange County and Los Angeles County alone, "about a million ballots were dropped off on Election Day."

Here's one of the many segments CBS News put out before the 2020 election in which they claimed that Hunter Biden's laptop was a Russian disinformation campaign. Did they ever apologize for misleading people? Of course not. They did though admit after the election that the laptop was most likely authentic. CBS News also heavily spread the "Russian bounties" hoax before the 2020 election, only to report after the election that rumors of Russia putting bounties on our soldiers in Afghanistan may have been untrue. When the left cries that Bari Weiss is "destroying" CBS News, what they really mean is that she is messing with what used to be a functional arm of the DNC.
