Trump has completely pulled the rug out from under Trudeau. If Trudeau keeps going with this trade war (read: election campaign) and fails to negotiate, the tariffs will be on him. Mexico isn't getting tariffs tomorrow. Here's what's going on.

I’m Canadian-American. This guy is spot on. Canada cannot win this trade war. Like Mexico they should help w/border security. It‘s a national security issue and economic disaster for America to deal w/fallout of an unsecured border and Canada should understand this.
