Last month, I introduced an amendment that would end the Trump Administration’s weaponization of the permitting process against wind and solar and ensure equal treatment for all energy sources. House Republicans opposed it — three separate times. I will continue to fight against this Administration’s reckless energy policy and let investors — not Washington — pick winners and losers. I’ll keep working to pass commonsense solutions to lower energy costs for families.

A 100-mile natural gas pipeline from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts that would immediately lower energy costs OR a massive wind farm 500 miles out in the Atlantic off the coast of Canada, plus a 700-mile transmission line through Maine and New Hampshire to deliver electricity that’s more expensive? Governor Healey is choosing the wind farm to appease climate activists. I’d choose the option that’s efficient, affordable, and actually helps Massachusetts families and businesses – the natural gas pipeline.
