This is what we call lying in broad daylight.

You can actively see what's left of his lawyer's soul dying inside.

Gag orders do not stop you from testifying. Lawyers that know they can't allow their client to openly lie in court do. They know their career is on the line. His followers believe him, anyone that knows the law knows he's full of it.

Trump really thinks his voters are stupid ... just unbelievably stupid

He's not only a liar of the highest order, but a moron too thinking he could say this w/ no consequences or followup. The Judge is now obligated to question him to make sure that he understands he has an absolute right to testify or not testify, and that the gag order is no bar.

His lawyer should be disbarred for standing there nodding while he says this.
