Biden damn well knows the history of the Resolute Desk. Jackie Kennedy pulled it out of storage in 1961 and had it restored. JFK, a sailing enthusiast, loved it & cherished the piece, and Biden, who idolized and lionized JFK, was thrilled to sit behind his political idol’s desk.
