I love this speech. You know since his death I’ve looked into him more than what’s widely said and taught about him. There’s context missing about him for sure. My opinion on him has become more nuanced, shame how death had to that. We would all do so much better if we just listened to one another I have to improve. That said there are things he did which I might not have agreed with but I can certainly see from his paradigm why he may have thought it was necessary. For me though religion brings way too much trouble. I feel that layer of identity should be personal not national.
