I agree totally but with a big caveat - the MAGA base is not big enough by itself to win elections. We are about to find out how many non-red cap wearing voters find it acceptable.

To be clear: AFAIC, if one is white, but especially a white public figure/official, there is no difference between soft-A & hard-R. Using either will immediately & completely eliminate whatever benefit of the doubt I may have given one regarding one's racist nature.
