🚨 BREAKING: Disgraced Fed Gov Lisa Cook REFUSES to Resign After Trump Axes Her Over MORTGAGE FRAUD Allegations President Trump just announced that Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook has been relieved of her position after allegations of mortgage fraud surfaced. On Truth Social, Trump posted the firing letter, writing: “The American people must be able to have full confidence in the honesty of the members overseeing the Federal Reserve. In light of your deceitful and potentially criminal conduct in a financial matter, they cannot — and I do not — have confidence in your integrity.” 👉 Cook is accused of taking out two separate home loans — in Michigan and Atlanta — each time declaring the property as her “primary residence.” 👉 Federal Housing Director Bill Pulte, who has been pressing this case, thanked Trump: “If you commit mortgage fraud in Trump's America, we're going to come after you and Lisa Cool is NO EXCEPTION" 👉 Cook, however, is refusing to resign, saying Trump has “no authority” to remove her and calling it an illegal firing. She’s already hired powerhouse attorney Abbe Lowell to fight back. ⚖️ This is unprecedented: no U.S. president has ever fired a Fed governor before. Legal scholars are already saying this could spark a massive constitutional showdown over the independence of the Federal Reserve. So the hot question is: Does Trump have the power to do this? And if Cook fights it, how ugly will this legal battle get?

🚨MAJOR BREAKING: A federal appeals court just ruled that Trump’s personal lawyer, Alina Habba, is unlawfully assuming the job as New Jersey U.S. Attorney and must step down. The decision by a three-judge panel was unanimous, with two of them being appointees by George W. Bush, delivering a massive blow for Trump and his team. This is the first ruling by a federal appeals court against Trump's efforts to retain temporary appointees facing Senate confirmation and can have a significant impact on those prosecutors. The court also made it clear that Pam Bondi does NOT have the power to delegate the powers of U.S. attorney to Habba. Judge Michael Fischer, a prominent figure in Republican politics in Pennsylvania who served as the attorney general until 2003 before President G. W. Bush appointed him as a judge, penned the 32-page opinion that effectively handed Trump and Bondi their asses on a judicial platter. "Its efforts to elevate its preferred candidate for U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Alina Habba, to the role of Acting U.S. Attorney demonstrate the difficulties it has faced — yet the citizens of New Jersey and the loyal employees in the U.S. Attorney’s Office deserve some clarity and stability.” Today's ruling follows a federal judge's decision to dismiss the cases against James Comey and NY AG Letitia James because Halligan, another of Trump's interim appointees, "had no lawful authority to present the indictment."
