Before crowing about the win, wait a few weeks until the new pricing trickles through to Walmart (80% Chinese stuff), auto parts stores, Home Depot, etc. In many cases there are no replacement American made products. Americans are going to sh*t a brick.

Smooth brains will never get it. India could make iPhones. Taiwan could. Textiles are already made all over the world, not just China. I love Southern Tide clothes. Just checked. The polos are made in India and the shorts are made in Vietnam. My Nike shirts are made in Vietnam. Hell, I love ATFCO shorts too, pulled out two pair. One made in China, the other Vietnam. ALL nations have come to the table. ….but China. We’re 30% of the global economy and the #1 consumer nation on the planet. We don’t need them. They need us. They don’t want to equalize trade? Fuck’em. They can go back to pre-Nixon days and we can get other nations, who DO want to treat us well, to supply us. China’s existence relies solely on our consumerism.

This decision sounds good, but if it is actually implemented, the price paid by the people will be very high. Unless the USA has its own manufacturing capabilities. Because we need too many things exported from China. In the end, the people will still pay the bill.
