TRUMPTON (1967)

My great uncle did the animation for Trumpton (and Camberwick Green and Chigley) with his business partner. Nice to see it again!

When people cannot remember all the fireman, I awlays give them some Flack.

Remember the one time he answered the phone and said "A fire? A real fire? Oh, A bonfire."

I LOVED this as a child, and Camberwick Green, and Chigley. I had a beautiful set of houses and figures, goodness knows what happened to them. All the songs are still in my head!

Another Watch With Mother classic from my childhood. Chigley will be up next. 😍

@where4artthow Fantastic childhood memories

Long street

Simpler times.

Why did they not make merch for this. I would have loved one of these fire engines.

Like all the top children's programmes - the Trumpton/Camberwick Green/Chigley stable, the Gerry Anderson group (Thunderbirds Joe 90 et all) and more recently Wallace and Grommit - the care and what I now call production values are to be applauded.

Thought the horse was stuck in the tree at first

Aahh memories 😁

Awesome that was

Absolutely fabulous.
