Making CCTV footage of counting rooms public is a legitimate demand to ensure transparency & accountability. In fact, ECI should start live-streaming of the counting centres, strong rooms & polling booths for all elections. This will help build public trust in electoral processes. It is routinely done in several jurisdictions. See below, livestream of the counting centre in Maricopa County in the US. The live stream is 24*7, available even when there are no elections being conducted.

NASA says they can’t ‘go to the Moon’ anymore as they destroyed the moon landing technology and it’s a ‘painful process’ to rebuild that technology. Can you think of any ‘technology’ from the 1950’s and 60’s that hasn’t been completely superseded in recent decades ? Strange !

In one of the largest office leases since before the pandemic, Anthropic is taking over an entire building in downtown San Francisco. This expansion will bring more people to our downtown and strengthen our innovation economy. This new lease is a clear sign of our recovery—and a strong vote of confidence in our city.

Digital screens are lighting up the Capital’s skyline & bringing in record revenues. The story behind them is one of trust & transparency. Our third auction this financial year just set a record, Rs 142 million in annual fees. Digital screens demand heavy investment, but advertisers are stepping up again and again & participating in large numbers because the process is transparent and they trust it. That trust is shaping a smarter Islamabad.
