Independent on June 26, 1960, we were thrust into a union that was never legally formed, never truly equal, and later used to bomb Hargeisa. When Somalia collapsed in 1991, the REPUBLIC OF SOMALILAND reclaimed its sovereignty. We didn’t secede; we survived the betrayal.

Yes , many countries in the world trust terrorists, dictators and fake accounts more then a legit democracy. Geo politics is a hard game to play. Hope Somaliland gets all the recognition it needs!
