Trusting God when you’re in agony.

David was depressed. Saul, who he’d shown nothing but loyalty to, chased him around Israel for 10 years and David did nothing wrong. David was anxious. He was angry. He was all those things while still trusting God. You’re allowed to express your emotions and still trust Him. Psalm 42:11 [11] Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

This time of year, I really struggle with depression, especially when I am confronted with all the happy happy joy joy pics here and on FB. Thank you for posting this, and know that you are being prayed for constantly.
