Truth Cannot Be Silenced: A lesson in spiritual warfare from Richardson, Texas. Today, our ministry showed up at a local mosque during their scheduled 3:00–5:00 PM open house to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Early on, local law enforcement told us we couldn't use our bullhorn due to... a city ordinance. Rather than backing down, we respectfully asked officers to verify the exact language of the code. They went to look it up, returned, and admitted we were entirely within our legal rights. Once the Gospel went back out over the speakers, the organizers realized they couldn't stop the preaching, so they locked the gates and cancelled the rest of the open house 34 minutes early. The takeaway for the Church: The enemy’s lies rely entirely on the silence of believers to spread. Darkness cannot stand when the light of God's Word is boldly proclaimed. Too many Christians voluntarily retreat, but Christ has already secured the ultimate victory. Stop being quiet. Well done, Pastor! Christians believe in spiritual warfare, and the power of prayer. We believe that when even a few of us gather to pray, Christ is there with us. There is spiritual power in the proclamation of Christ's Gift on the Cross! We are in a battle, and it's not just physical, it's spiritual. Unfortunately, the Muslims put a lot more effort into their support of demons than we do in our support of Christ and His army of angels. Muslims gather at exactly the same time, five times each day, to face Mecca and pray to their demonic spirit-rock, and they use loudspeakers to broadcast their incantation and declare dominion over us (which they falsely claim is merely a "call to prayer,") through our streets, homes, businesses and even our churches. Christians need to step it up. Start praying! Not just alone, but in groups, and at pre-determined times every day. Proclaim the Gospel at every opportunity. Put our faith into action and take back our nation for Jesus Christ!
