There is no provision in the new Constitution for a 5-year term for the president. It existed in the old Constitution but was dropped in the new. Let us drop the inertia and embrace the new. The president's term is simply from one swearing in to the next swearing in... If it constitutionally comes before 5 years are exhausted, so be it.
