supaterm looks like a useful terminal application. the coding agents integration could benefit from a robust memory system like Hindsight to handle complex interactions and session history.

that's on the users to decide

With the agents integrations installed, you can quickly glance to the sidebar and knows when your agents need you.

Organize your work based on Spaces, Tabs, save your favorite pane layout to Pinned Tabs (persisted across sessions) Resuming Coding Agents sessions when reopening the app is coming soon.

What will happen to and why do I need another app? Supacode is being maintained by @sbertix, and it’s super useful on its own. If your workflow is very worktree–oriented, give that a shot. I’m building Supaterm in an attempt to test out a terminal that builds where agents are the first class citizen, if you want a worktree, you or your agent should be able to spawn it using scripting.

Thank you to - @lucasmeijer for being the 1st user of the app, testing, giving feedbacks. He's been actively using and shilling for both supacode and supaterm 👏. - @itsxiuting for being the 2nd user, u are the first I talked with about the idea of this app. - @tuistdev for sponsoring us with Remote Cache. I don't think I can go back to slow build time and CI anymore - @pointfreeco for making TCA and other libraries that making building native apps delightful again. - @arcinternet for the inspirations on good UI/UX.

@lucasmeijer @itsxiuting @tuistdev supaterm . dev has nothing to do with me :) be careful not to download that slop

@lucasmeijer @itsxiuting @tuistdev And source code is available at

Agents in the terminal are only part of it. What matters is making orchestration visible. Once you can see handoffs, activity, and failure states in one place, multi-agent work stops feeling like a gimmick and starts feeling operable.

hey friend thiago ex toggl here 👋🏼 you’ve been doing some really cool stuff it seems!

thank you Thiago, Toggl's been a while, I do miss that life sometimes

haha me too! simpler times ☀️

Your idea is really cool! It seems we've run into the same frustrations. I built a similar open-source tool with the same approach

I'm coming across so many mac-only projects atm - with no Linux support :(

Make ur own!!

Well, I am building an agentic coding bench marking app at the moment, to test how well different types of agent harnesses work and generate some data. I know it's the era of make your own everything, but honestly we can't remake every app we use. I have a full time day job and one major side project is all I can manage for now. But thanks for the suggestion though - I'd love to try one day :)

love the minimal design. i am building on similar lines. a big pro it will run your agents in a microVM sandbox (local), instead of letting it go wild on your system.

wow looks very cool, let me see how u do the microVMs

it is built on top of - a microVM sandbox for AI agents

oh wow, how do u get around the 2 macOS vms limitation?

it runs debian based microVMs, not macOS vms.

is this like @supacode_sh but without built-in worktrees?

@supacode_sh Haha one could say that

@supacode_sh Is there a place where you can kind of have both? I really enjoyed not having to fiddle with Git worktrees via the terminal manually. But I also liked the ability for agents to control my terminal.

@supacode_sh Supaterm is it, once I ship the ability to have ur own custom command in the command palette, u can have ur own set of command that do new worktree in a new tab

tried, but no way i'm upgrading to Tahoe :(

That is a lot of sessions, fam!

This is super cool. Everyone seems to be building the same thing with different nuances as we all try to figure out this new workflow. I've been building something very similar but entirely terminal based:

you have taste, thanks for sharing this!

Very impressive

Super

Heads up.. I'm having issues with the download button. Goes to a dmg URL but nothing happens

download it here for now. I think a react deployment broke the link, fixing

👍 I went straight to the source

fixed

Well done sir 🚀

This or supacode?
