Dear friends, today is our ninth anniversary, we would have liked to celebrate with you and talk about beautiful things, but as you may have heard from the media, currently in Syria there are fierce clashes between rebels and the regime in several cities, Aleppo, our old and loved hometown just yesterday was the object of clashes but several people have contacted us saying that there is a shelter that has 600 partially disabled animals that have been left without any help, civilians are forbidden to move. we armed ourselves with meat and dry food and we are leaving to try to reach these animals. Will we succeed? We don't know! We will tell you this evening. Happy birthday Ernesto’s friends please celebrate our foundation because without you we would never have been able to exist, without your generosity we can do nothing, someone complained to us that they did not feel thanked enough, we are very sorry, life is becoming more and more difficult for more of us , and sometimes we think we are one family and we forget to say thank you, it is not because we are not grateful, on the contrary! thank you thank you thank you to all of you, one by one! You need to change your mindset! No one can do it for you. You can CHOOSE to see silver linings OR just the possibility of rain. You can CHOOSE your HARD... - Struggle through a workout vs struggle to look at yourself & how unhealthy you've become - Struggle to learn a new skill vs struggle in a job you hate. Trying to see beyond your unhappiness, 'bad luck' & bad choices is confronting & can feel impossible...BUT it isn't!! It's possible! Not over night but gradually...taking ONE DAY AT A TIME! Be kind to yourself! Changing your mindset & working on overhauling years of negative thought processes is far from easy but in doing so, you'll reclaim your POWER & take back control of your own happiness. Choosing to go out into the sunshine to drink a cuppa (instead of staying cooped up indoors) won't make your problems disappear...BUT it gives you a few seconds of CALM to REFOCUS your thoughts & a dose of Vitamin D & fresh air, while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. In making that choice, you reinforce your self-worth: you deserve time for yourself & you deserve to feel good. It's a simple choice that can completely change how you feel for the better, even if just for a moment. if you have been following me for some time.. you probably have seen my body, great angles, large numbers by my posts.. and as much as i am proud of my journey and the realizations i have had.. i am also super aware of how my content could have been perceived during my journey. i wasn't aware of it in the moment.. but now i really see myself differently. growth is making peace with what you didn't know. it's the vulnerability to admit you didn't know better, and the grace to forgive yourself for it. there is no sense trying to spend your heart beats that you won't get back.. regretting what you did, what you said, what you didn't say, how you didn't take action, etc. what matters now..is how you choose to move. how fast you take action, how fast you are able to see yourself in a different lens, how quickly you are able to self correct. being able to redirect yourself in your own life in my opinion is one of the most powerful tools we have to live better.. and to live truly authentic to who we really are. ps post yourself in the bikini because i will from time to time.. but it will be from a different place. 🤍 #intentionalliving #mindsetshift #quietpower #authenticgrowth #womeninbusiness
