This guy says that he’s heard you cannot have tea with milk and lemon and not have it curdle. So he runs a series of simple experiments to test it: Lemon + Milk + Tea = instant curdles Milk + Tea + Lemon = still curdles Lemon + Tea + Milk = curdles Even just a few drops of lemon in Milk + Tea = curdles Then he adds a base: adds baking soda… and the curdles completely disappear. He then adds sodium hydroxide (aka lye)… and they vanish again too. Needless to say, you cannot have tea with lemon and milk without curdles. No one would be drinking it with baking soda… and definitely not with lye! ☠️
