Well we know this is a natural way of things, having a parent die is an initiation into a deep and profound realm of grief. It’s always darkest before the dawn. I have to hope your work, my fighting, all of us taking action to spur change - it’s for the future. So our children can lead better lives. We have messed up a great deal, but educating + learning from our mistakes might just allow change.

I just got done dealing with this and I didn’t get Covid, thankfully. My youngest daughter got it 10 days ago. We isolated, masked and ran air purifiers in all the rooms. I’ve been testing and I’m negative. My mom is in a care facility and that’s likely where she got.

🫂I don’t know what to say, because I ran out of words of comfort back in the spring of 2020, but there is one thing I have to say. I thought I was doing a good job with SARS-CoV-2 prevention and protection, but you are a world champion. 🥇

We are all in so much pain. The large cause of it ignorantly tripping along, causing harm both near and far, while they live for themselves sentencing our future to a diminished life. It’s not a way of living I ever thought was possible. I fight for the future.

I wish people would wake the fup too & be responsible humans with hearts & empathy. Hopefully the family tests -ve soon and you can return to normalcy in your house & with family. Those mitigations are top notch it is just a waiting game. Hope your family is well soon!

I am so angered at schools, educators, so called educational leadership- allowing this pathogen to spread through our children and into our homes. In VT- children can be Covid positive at school! Thank you for sharing your strategy. No ones masks in my home. It’s scary.

Good luck! I avoided it while my kid has had it 3x 😕 I haven’t invested in far UVC but I used filtration, ventilation, plus she begrudgingly wore a 😷 when outside her room. Saline + xylitol nasal rinses & CPC gargles for both of us. Novavax. She got over acute phase quickly.

I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm so sorry your family has covid! I wish them all a speedy recovery and I hope you stay covid free! When my husband had covid earlier this year, he isolated in the basement and our N95s and HEPA filters kept the kids and I from getting it.

Re the absence of shroud on the CR box: I’ve just used tape on mine. Just cover the corners and a couple of inches on the side so that only the fan can be seen thru the grid. It’ll do the same thing as a circular shroud. Good luck!

Can you and your wife get metformin? I only tested + for 5 days when my son gave me Covid 2 years ago. My husband just had it a few months ago and I started Metf. right away and even though I think I caught it, it was very mild and I never tested +

You’ve gotta pinch the sides of the top of your mask/nose area so it is a tight fit. Otherwise it’s pointless. Wash your hands and clean surfaces. We had an outbreak at work and I’m the only one who didn’t get it, thanks.
