Trying out different kinds of wall anchors

I'm going to be honest I do not think I have been screwing enough when I use these. I never knew that they were supposed to clamp up against the wall like that. What kind of a man am I?

That last one seems a bit to much

iv used the top ones tons of times and never used a tool for it. Just screwing in the screw with a drill will pull the metal against the wall as seen, and without having the screw sticking out the wall

I have only seen 3 types 😭
