trying something out in Paper, would you use this?

Ooooh I see what you're doing there! imho as an artist/designer color picking should have a smooth flow feel with intuitive options. I actually challenged myself recently to build a color picker that felt like it gave me the range i wanted. not perfect yet! colors and system is spot on... the color names I still need to resolve. So if anything, im sharing to show what I wanted for myself hahaha

HA! Almost forgot i replied to you i was deep in an Astra stupor! Thanks so much though! I really threw everything at it I could think of as both an artist and a designer, and how I use color in the application of my work, but trying to make sure there was no feature bloat and felt intuitive. Happy to chat colors any time 😎

@paper could be confusing/chaotic but I can see what you are getting at is the workflow to replace one-off colors with tokens?

@paper Yeah, sometimes you want to replace raw colors, or colors of another token theme to closest matching/suggested color tokens.

@paper The smaller it gets, the less useful, IMO. Feels less and less like the system I’m working in and more like a random color picker.
