Watching that episode without being spoiled, hearing Reiner expose himself and Bertholdt, thinking he was just having mental issues again just for him to prove it, the fight, the transformation, the music, aaaughhhhhhh

I remember being spoiled before watching this exact episode yet my jaw was still on the ground. I watched aot in 3 different languages and that ‘you damn traitors’ part hits like crack every single time. they don’t make shows like this anymore

What I like about this twist is that the signs point to it if you look for them, like when Eren is describing what the Armored Titan looks like in Season 1, you see a shot of Reiner.

right it makes rewatch sm more fun

I couldn’t tell if Eren was brave or he was just stupid. But I knew I didn’t want to stop watching. I replayed this scene a ridiculous number of times. I had began loving the show for its storytelling, and now i wanted to see what choices it would force its characters to make.

Truly one of the most unforgettable episodes of AOT. Back then I did not expect that those two were traitors. :( I really felt Eren's devastation, the voice acting was great btw!
