“Execution risk” is WS parlance for not being able to achieve forecasts articulated by overly optimistic CEOs. For the last three years, $TSLA has underperformed NDX (TSLA +46% vs NDX +64%) because of volume forecasts of +50% CGR that turned out to be too optimistic (+24% actual CGR).

@NickGibbsIAG @herbertong 911 - Yes, I would like to report a murder...

@NickGibbsIAG @herbertong We only notice these analysts being wrong when we truly understand the vertical or company they are analyzing (wrongly). Once we see that, it should be clear they are wrong elsewhere (and useless).

@NickGibbsIAG @herbertong Nick, you hit the topic out of the park! Thank you.

@NickGibbsIAG @herbertong Great point ... Us in the trenches know more than those "analysts"

@NickGibbsIAG @herbertong Why does Gary Black come to mind? Black is consistently wrong and yet he's still getting away with it!

@NickGibbsIAG @herbertong Dude is spot on.

@NickGibbsIAG @herbertong your insights are like a Tesla on autopilot—smooth!

@NickGibbsIAG @herbertong Looking for risks with FSD at this point is getting harder and harder. There are things that could delay unsupervised going wide, but delays should be months not years. Capital, talent, regulatory, software capability… all seem to have a clear path.
