Another detail is that even though the front windshield shattered, the glass didn't scatter everywhere. A Tesla PR rep told me that there is a specific certification mark on Tesla's front windshield. "LAMINATED" indicates its laminated structure. Even if a heavy impact shatters the glass, it stays together instead of flying apart, minimizing injuries to anyone inside the car. Excellent result but again, door handles… door handle from outside is not working as its not mechanical, guy standing outside knew how to tesla open safety manual release from inside. Thanks to broken gls. Guy inside the car didnt know so was trapped…. Totally stupid design.
