JUST NOW Trump is asked “What leverage have you got with the Hezbollah and Israel conflict?” Specifically about Hezbollah and Israel. From this, he hasn’t given a straight answer at all, he mentions the Iran, the Blockade and having a Mighty Military. But surely he could have just said that since Hezbollah is a proxy/answers to Iran, and each time its Hezbollah firing first; if they keep attacking Israel that’s a violation of the deal and we’ll go back to fighting. Hezbollah attacking Israel is no different from Iran attacking Israel. If Iran wants Lebanon in the deal, fine, just say that if Hezbollah attacks Israel, then they’ve broken the deal. He can’t seem to say those words out loud though.

Tucker Carlson refuses to call Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthis "terrorists." They merely "pick at Israel, hassle Israelis." Oh, and Israel is at fault! Why? Because it's "like a marriage, no party is wholly responsible... Each action provokes a reaction." This isn't even a lukewarm take. It's just a lazy regurgitation of the NY Times' favorite staple: The "cycle of violence" reporting, where Israel and Hamas are as morally equivalent as Tom & Jerry. Just like left-wing media, Tucker labels Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis "militants groups" who carry out "insurgencies." And just like left-wing media, Tucker can't even acknowledge that these terrorists "murder" Israelis. He can only bring himself to say "kill" — not the same as "murder." (Commandment is "Thou shalt not murder," not "kill.") Tucker closed his Israel-Hamas "marriage" analogy by saying that figuring out who is actually responsible can be done by "real historians... the few honest ones left." It's worth remembering that Tucker said the "most honest historian" is Darryl Cooper, who called on Trump to bomb Israel (instead of Iran) and who claims that Churchill was the real villain of World War II, not Hitler.
