To be clear, I know Mike Pence and have spent time with him. He's always been exceedingly decent and kind to me personally, but this answer is indefensible.

A charitable reading of this is that Mike Pence is trying to say that Ukraine, as described by Tucker, is not his concern. He was answering the first part of Tucker's question. A potential defense vector for Pence's comms team to roll out, but a tough spin given the tape...
