Vivek Ramaswamy might just be playing the 2024 election cycle perfectly. He’s defending and complimenting Trump every chance he gets. This has led many people to claim that he’s really running to be Trump’s Vice President. After watching his interview with Tucker Carlson, I think most people just don't get it. Vivek knows Trump. He knows that Trump has a really difficult time attacking those whom he believes are loyal to him. Vivek is playing this just right. While Trump supporters already despise Ron DeSantis, none of them really have anything bad to say about Vivek. Vivek is essentially the younger, better looking, more intelligent, more charming, more electable version of Donald Trump, without any of the baggage that Trump brings. Vivek knows that if Trump is convicted, much of the GOP will likely do all they can to try and pick a new candidate, and there will really only be one choice left: Vivek Ramaswamy. For the record, I really disagree with Vivek on the vast majority of his politics, but I think he could take a large amount of the independent vote away from Biden, which Trump could not do. He could do all of this without losing the support of the MAGA base if he keeps playing his cards right. The biggest factor of all though, is that he would not bring nearly as many Democrats out to the polls merely to vote against the GOP that Trump would. I'd love to hear your thoughts no matter where you stand politically. Does Vivek have a chance? Would he give the GOP the best chance to defeat Biden?

Absolutely incredible. Here is the entire Ukraine discussion between Tucker Carlson and Mike Pence. Tucker asks Pence about religious persecution in Ukraine, and he completely denies it. Tucker follows up, and Pence gets flustered. Pence then tells the ridiculous lie that Putin will roll into a NATO country if he beats Ukraine, as if he wants war with NATO. Tucker then follows up with questions about cluster bombs, Pence gets boos, and then Tucker receives applause after saying every American city is falling apart while most can’t point to Ukraine on a map... Wild. The most crucial philosophical split is on full display in this debate. Can the United States afford, and is it even moral, to be an empire fueled by fiat currency? Which way, western man? Again, this would not happen in the old debate format. As I've said before, candidates should have to hash out their views in long-form conversations, not in a contrived debates. We are truly living in revolutionary times in terms of the decentralization of media, technology, and free speech. This is a must-see exchange.

Social media and the Mainstream Media is completely unloading on Ron DeSantis for allegedly claiming during GOP debates that he "was a Navy SEAL." Ron DeSantis was not ever a Navy SEAL. However, it's important to be fair and honest here. DeSantis' own words should be taken in context. He never actually stated that he was a Navy SEAL. What he specifically said was, "I think it should be voluntary, I'm someone that volunteered to serve, inspired by September 11 and I deployed to Iraq alongside U.S. Navy SEALs in places like Fallujah, Ramadi." DeSantis was a member of the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG), and was deployed alongside U.S. Navy SEALs. His comments could be considered a bit misleading but many people attacking him on Social Media are being even more misleading with their accusations.
