The USS Liberty remains one of the most egregious attacks ever carried out against U.S. military personnel, with questions that have never been fully answered and accountability that never came. Rep. Thomas Massie recently brought renewed attention to the incident, honoring the survivors on the House floor and calling for further investigation into the attack. As Congress is about to vote on an even deeper and more permanent military alliance with Israel, the USS Liberty story should not be forgotten, especially as Israel continues to dispute and downplay the significance of the attack. I discuss this and more with Dan Kovalik.
