US President Trump said he discussed Ukraine with European leaders "in pretty strong words" on Wednesday. "We had some little disputes about people," Trump concluded. US President also said that the European leaders would like to meet with him in Europe over the weekend. "We'll make a determination depending on what they come back with. We don't wanna be wasting time. Sometimes you have to let people find it out, and sometimes you don't. But the problem with letting people find it out is you're losing thousands of people a week," he added.

President Erdogan should get a lot of good credit for what he did. He got rid of some very bad people, and they’ve been wanting to do that for a thousand years. We want to start a new process by overcoming this resentment.” ‼️ Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (splinter branch of Al Qaeda) rebels, who started an offensive now, were angry! HTS in Idlib were burning Turkish flags in dissatisfaction with Erdogan plan to restart diplomatic relations with Assad. -> But Assad decided not to go down this path and refused to start talks with Erdogan, unless Erdogan abides by his conditions of fully sovereignty and retreats from Syria fully. Which essentially is impossible before talks, but could have been part of the agreement. Erdogan said: "The door is open to Assad but their approach is important. Assad wants Türkiye out of Northern Syria. This is out of the question. We are fighting terrorism there.” The important part is, that Assad decided not to open a diplomatic path with Erdogan. -> Now Erdogan decided to actually escalate and enforce either talks, or remove Assad.
