Calling Animal Care on Astoria the Wild Turkey puts her life in danger (as she is forced to move fast to escape) and causes her to be afraid to come to the ground and forage, preventing her from eating and drinking.

This is beyond disturbing. I am glad she flew off.

cops should not be handling stuff like this. they can't even keep people safe

Astoria must be terrified. Can’t someone rescue her so she can find a mate? And not Animal Control or the police.

just leave her alone, she will eventually find her way back to the Staten Island Ferry and come home.
