The EU, apart from a common market and economic union is also a quasi-federation. A common political and cultural entity that requires compliance with its values and norms. Turkey could never and will never be able to comply with that. The BRICS are way more suitable for Turkey.

I believe Ankara has to fulfill its EU obligations, inclusive of recognizing the Armenian genocide, before the EU accepts Turkey as a member. Please read the EU requirements specially outlines for Turkey. 🤷‍♂️

why not? Is there a law that says this? Anybody says whatever within Turkey and people believe it! It is remarkable. 🤣🤡👏 He does not even dare to say that Turkey's fate to join the EU depends on Cyprus! Cyprus will veto Turkey's membership until it withdraws its troops.
