Hundreds of members of an elite Somali commando unit have graduated from a training program in Türkiye under a bilateral agreement aimed at strengthening the Somali Armed Forces. In certain parts of Alberta, this is a common sight. It's still surprising to me that these mining dump trucks are the size that they are! Experienced drivers will pull off to the side of the road when they see one of these being delivered to its destination. Why don't they drive it you ask, instead of hauling it via flatbed? In a word, cost. I did the math in the comments! How much cheaper do you think it is to haul the dump than it would be to drive it? Want to make a guess?
