Turkish President Erdogan: The root cause of the tensions in the Middle East is the Palestinian issue. Unfortunately, lasting peace cannot be achieved in our region as long as the occupation continues and Israel's ongoing land appropriation persists. The gateway to lasting peace is a two-state solution. An independent, sovereign, and territorially contiguous Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders must be established.

Türkiye’s UN Representative: Personal attacks and lies, no matter how loudly or frequently repeated, collapse under the weight of undeniable facts. While Israel exports war, destruction, and instability, Türkiye builds peace. And Türkiye remains steadfast in its support for the two-state solution, the only viable path to lasting peace. We will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Palestinian people until an independent, sovereign, and contiguous state of Palestine is established on the basis of the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Turkish President Erdogan: We sincerely believe that we will witness many more divine blessings ahead. Those who build their power on oppression always meet a bitter end — and we have seen this in Syria. Now, God willing, it is Palestine’s turn. The patience of the oppressed will be crowned with victory, and freedom and peace will come. With God’s permission, a sovereign State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital within the 1967 borders, will be established.

Turkish President Erdogan: Categorically, we harbor hostility toward no one. On the contrary, we want to continue on our path as an independent, stable and prosperous state in the difficult geography in which we find ourselves. We will never allow this path to be blocked. Those who are disturbed by our country becoming stronger and by its efforts to establish peace and stability in its region cannot turn us back from our path. Have no doubt: no one has the power to change the course of history. Türkiye will shake hands with its friends, embrace its relatives, and reunite with its brothers. Those who are friends with Türkiye will win, while those who harbor hostility will lose.
