If you take strong action and it is very different action from what your country has known before...you can only be confident that your action is right if it is founded on strong principles. Mine was founded on the belief that governments are there to serve the liberties of the people under a rule of law, a free enterprise economy, and strong defence. After we lost the election in 1974, and the Labour Government came in, we had departed from our fundamental principles. And I set up a great study with many people—not only politicians but businessmen, academics, journalists—and we redrafted our whole principles. From the principles, we decided the policies and we sorted out what needed to be done and how it was to be done when we got into power. That took four years. I had confidence we were in the right and our policies would achieve the right. Although, as you know, great change means great dislocation. We had to cut expenditure; we had to privatise; we had to get down taxation; we had to cut the bureaucracy. All of the people objected, and for two and a half years my name was marred. It's always difficult to do the right thing. But my father had taught me to persevere: It's easy to be a starter, but are you a sticker-to? It's easy enough to begin a job, it's harder to see it through. And I saw it through. After three years, all of a sudden, the good things in the economy began to show through. At the same time, we had the Falklands, and against all odds we won. Although, the world thought it was really rather astonishing that Britain sent a fleet 8,000 miles away into the bitter cold Antarctic against a foe that had air cover from land when we only had it from aircraft carriers. So the two reinforced one another. But I couldn't have done it unless I had been confident that we had the right principles and that if we persisted, it would show through to the benefit of our people. The same pattern of ethnic overrepresentation and targeted destruction of Christian institutions seen across centuries was on full display. After World War II, the assault continued through different means in the West. The Frankfurt School almost entirely Jewish intellectuals like Adorno, Horkheimer, Marcuse, and Fromm developed Critical Theory, a weaponized form of cultural Marxism designed to undermine Western Christian civilization from within. They attacked the family, traditional morality, authority, and religion itself, repackaging their ideas for American universities. These ideas metastasized into the cultural revolution of the 1960s and beyond. The post-war period also saw heavy Jewish influence in Hollywood, media, academia, and the legal system that accelerated the removal of Christianity from public life. The same networks that helped dismantle Christian Russia now worked to secularize and transform Christian America and Europe first through legal challenges (removing school prayer), then through mass immigration, then through control of cultural output. The forms through which Christianity lived in the world cathedrals, liturgy, art, family, public morality are under sustained attack. The Bolsheviks showed what total war against Christian civilization looks like. The post-war West shows what sophisticated, institutional subversion looks like. Both chapters deserve serious study. Hello everyone who follows Ukraine and wants to help. I am currently fundraising for a non-lethal aid in form of excavators and engineering equipment for Ukraine. (Donation link in the end) The fundraiser has stalled 100/120k goal, with only 20k left to collect so I would like to add a small video and explain the importance. Please watch the video to understand in which conditions these machines work, and how thick vegetation is, and that no other machine can work in such conditions. It’s literally working inside the bush under the tree without breaking the branches. Fortifications that these machines built are not those huge centralized bunkers for battalions. The size of the position is usually for a 5-20 men. While this seems small and insignificant, a good concealed position with dedicated and determined personnel can be an impenetrable fortress for the enemy. Our excavators are designed to build exactly that, their ability to work in a tight concealed areas without breaking the cover of leaves have proven to be decisive in building fortifications. What’s funny is that initially most of the engineers and commanders are skeptical of these machines, because they aren’t popular and unfamiliar in Ukraine. It takes time, first two weeks after getting the equipment they learn on practice how to apply machine capabilities, after a month they start calling and praising it saying they never expected such productivity and ability to work in tight spots. A month later all neighbors of that unit start calling and asking for similar machines. I know this isn’t a sexy drone, but this is a non lethal boring machine that saves lives. While it’s hard for me to quantify the impact, it’s no rare for me to receive a message from someone saying that they were recently under heavy artillery and drone attack but they felt safe because the enemy didn’t know their exact position and their bunker is deep enough to withstand direct hits. This is the oldest surviving icon of Christ, the oldest painted portrait of the face of Jesus that has come down to us. It was made around 1500 years ago, and if you cover one half of the face, then the other, you are looking at two different men... It's called Christ Pantocrator, a Greek title meaning "Ruler of All," and it was painted in the sixth century, around the year 550, most likely in a workshop in Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire. It was almost certainly sent as an imperial gift to a remote new monastery being built in the Egyptian desert. Honourable Tendai Biti Thank you Mbali, and good evening to your viewers. We regard Constitutional Amendment Number 3 of 2026 as a coup; a constitutional coup against the Republic of Zimbabwe, against the people of Zimbabwe. Remember, we had the referendum on the 21st of March 2013 that approved a new Constitution. And that Constitution is very clear. It gives the President; first, it allows the people of Zimbabwe to choose a President of their choice. This is codified in section 91 of the Constitution (sic.). The proposed amendment now seeks to delegate that to 300 Members of Parliament. Yet the Constitution makes it very clear, that every citizen has a right to choose a leader of his own choice or of her own choice. This is codified in section 67 of our Constitution of Zimbabwe. And remember, our war of liberation was fought on the basis of one woman, one vote, one man, one vote. So how do 300 people replace 16 million people? Comment The principle of universal adult suffrage is the unqualified non-discrimination guarantee that every adult Zimbabwean citizen has an equal and unfettered vote. The non-discrimination guarantee is enshrined in section 56(3) which provides that: “Every person has the right not to be treated in an unfairly discriminatory manner on such grounds as their nationality, race, colour, tribe, place of birth, ethnic or social origin, language, class, religious belief, political affiliation, opinion, custom, culture, sex, gender, marital status, age, pregnancy, disability or economic or social status, or whether they were born in or out of wedlock.” As such, the principle is about who is entitled to cast the votes, and not about the voting system used to cast them. In this connection, universal adult suffrage does not mean one adult person one vote for one person; rather, it applies equally to direct elections as it does to indirect elections. In the application of the principle, it does not matter whether the system is direct (voters choose the office-holder themselves) or indirect (voters choose representatives or electors who then choose the office-holder). While Honourable Biti is indeed correct that “the war of liberation was fought on the basis of one woman, one vote; one man, one vote”; this truth did not standalone, it was then and now inextricably linked to the “NIBMAR" principle: “No Independence Before Majority African Rule”. This is why NIBMAR embodied the rallying call by African nationalists that decolonisation and the post-independence dispensation had to be democratic and majority-based, not end up as a handover to individuals. The connection between NIBMAR and "one man, one vote" (universal adult suffrage) was direct and inseparable: "one man, one vote" was the essential democratic mechanism to make "majority rule" meaningful and enforceable. That’s why “one woman, one vote; one man, one vote” was never and cannot be about voting for one person in a direct presidential election. Hence, NIBMAR became the shorthand for rejecting independence “deals” or “settlements” that did not express the imperative of majority rule through universal adult suffrage. On March 7, 2025, the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine was formed, with the Azov Brigade as its core. Four additional brigades became part of the corps: Burevii, Chervona Kalyna, Kara Dag, and Lubart. The corps was commanded by Hero of Ukraine, Colonel Denys "Redis" Prokopenko. In August, the corps was assigned a zone of responsibility in the Pokrovsk sector, where key events of the Battle for Donbas unfolded. Corps units, together with attached and subordinate forces, were tasked with halting and eliminating the enemy, who had broken through the defensive formations of Ukraine’s Defense Forces toward the settlement of Dobropillia. The corps command ensured effective coordination among units of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Air Assault and Assault Troops, the Unmanned Systems Forces, and other components of the Defense Forces. This coordinated effort made it possible to stabilize the situation in the sector. In the autumn, the General Staff calculated that during the counteroffensive operation, approximately 175 square kilometers of territory were liberated. In addition, nearly 195 square kilometers were cleared of enemy sabotage groups. About a month ago, our forces in the Gaza Strip conducted a search in the European Hospital — the same location where we located and eliminated Mohammad Sinwar, the mastermind of October 7th, along with other senior Hamas operatives. The underground complex built beneath the hospital served as a shelter for Hamas’s senior leadership. Unique intelligence was found during the search, including correspondence between Mohammad Sinwar and Saeed Izadi, clearly proving the direct connection between the IRGC and Hamas. Izadi and Sinwar were engaged in the financing, rebuilding, and rearming of Hamas against Israel. We cut that connection and disrupted the arms transfer. NDTV reported footage showing the F-15 spiraling in what appeared to be a friendly fire engagement from a Patriot air defense battery. If that footage is authentic, the United States just shot down its own fourth-generation strike fighter with its own air defense system in the territory of its own ally during a war the United States started. Here is why this is not an anomaly. This is a pattern. On March 23, 2003, during the invasion of Iraq, a U.S. Patriot battery shot down a Royal Air Force Tornado GR4 returning from a mission over Iraq. But shutting down the public event of a national political leader on the verge of elections in Canada is an escalation into direct interference with Canadian democratic life. When a Canadian federal political leader like you can be forced out of a venue through intimidation—particularly if the same actors can penetrate political communities through relationship-based access while coordinating venue tracking, harassment, and intimidation with a designated terrorist entity and against the same communities—then Canada has a sovereignty and public-safety problem, which goes beyond any partisan boundaries. On February 9, 2024, Reza Pahlavi’s networks acted through premeditated political intimidation orchestrated on the ground by two individuals: Arezou Soltani of North Vancouver and Mehdi Ahmadzadeh of Maple Ridge, who jointly led a local Pahlavi-affiliated group registered in British Columbia as Canadian Iranian Wakuppers Foundation (the “Wakuppers”). Those disclosed records from the Wakuppers’ WhatsApp group chat show: · real-time tracking of your appearance, · active efforts to locate the venue while you were speaking, · celebratory messaging after the shutdown, and · Mehdi Ahmadzadeh’s own voice message, in which he vividly describes and boasts about assaults, pushing, intimidation and dragging the attendees “into dust and blood”. You remember that night. Barely seconds after you began your remarks at: True Confections Denman, 866 Denman St, Vancouver, BC V6G 2L9, the disruption started by Hamas supporters and the scene changed instantly. The event had been anticipated as roughly a 90-minute meet-and-greet. Instead, you were forced to cut your entire remarks down to roughly 15 minutes and escorted out by your security team early. You also tried to defuse the disruption and offered a fair compromise—words to the effect of: “Let me give my remarks, and during Q&A you can ask your questions.” They refused. You then called it out on the spot—“It seems we have the Iranian regime here,” and referred to them as “IRGC supporters.” You were right, but that was not the full reality. I am informed they obtained backstage access to you through the Mary Hakimi / Doug Horne connection. Another matter you may not be aware of is that these same circles use MEK-labelling exactly the way the Islamic Republic does: as a weapon to intimidate, discredit, and socially isolate Iranian pro-democracy activists—and, when convenient, to smear Conservative politicians and MPs as well.
