Man… this is insane. Figma actually feels optional now. You guys just killed the whole ‘I design in Figma first, then build it in Framer’ loop. Unreal.

After every event, Figma and Framer end up like this

Canvas pages were a legacy feature not available to everyone. They also never supported all web design features we offered on web pages. Additionally Design Pages lets people turn an iteration into a web page in a single click, which Canvas Pages never could. They support Wireframer with multi-page generation.

Thanks for your reply. I didn’t know Canvas was outdated I used it often. Even if I was a bit disappointed to see a feature I felt I was already using, with some hindsight I’m actually glad to see that this feature I like is finally improving. 🤝

This is an amazing update! Love it 😍 But I guess some people are wondering what the difference is with Canvas. This was already (some sort of) a freeform canvas?

This update removes a major bottleneck and closes the fidelity gap, an absolute game changer for web projects. Huge props to the team and @jornvandijk for making this happen.

Is it possible to create an 8px baseline grid in framer? I've used figma for some time, and that's one of the things I'm missing about the Framer feature set.

Figma for ideas, Webflow for launch? Nope. Just Framer now 😅
