I know I joke around or whatever, but this is going to be more of a serious post. I’ve been struggling with sleep apnea for 10+ years now, and I’ve tried everything from melatonin to CPAP machines, and nothing has worked… That was until Aaron Judge gave this speech. School ball is coming to a close, and you start to realize that some of these seniors I’ve played baseball with or against since I was 4 years old. Some of these guys I’ve played T ball with. And in just a few weeks…. It will be over. I won’t see them in the hall next year, I won’t see them in class, they won’t be in the clubhouse next year, they won’t be suited up to play in practice or games. They will be gone. Gone on to bigger and better things- off to different colleges around the country. Some will be playing college ball others will just be starting their next chapter somewhere else. In the end…. It’s been a great ride- proud to be your teammate and friend. Don’t take one moment for granted and on to the next chapter. Love this game. I’ve been staying there — I have a hotel room, but I’ve been going home most of the time. Just gonna be able to hangout with my parents, this is the most I’ve been home and honestly, the practice facility is the closest rink to my house probably.
