Do we need to teach people how to vote? Having worked in mental health in an inner city area I found many did not want to go near a school, didn't know how to fill in the ballot paper, anxious about going to the polling station where the people would not be known to them.

The NDIS is destroying productivity at a scale never seen before in this country and we're borrowing from the future in order to consume in the present, impoverishing ourselves as seen in our declining standards of living. What's the answer? To abandon the disabled? No, of course not. The answer is to deal with the cost of government and the cost of living so that disabled people and their families are better able to take care of themselves, with community support for those in greatest need, because the cost of living is manageable, taxes are minimal, and community support is available.

We need to mobilize the troops to campaign and vote before the primary. We dropped the ball way before yesterday. We have plenty of resources and time and no excuse. Let's learn from this. The time is now!
