I think Golden Eye (N64) already had some of that in 1996. Also early Megaman? Maybe my caption was unclear but many people point out here how our game is not the first one which has time mechanic. I think it would be absurd from my part to claim that, which I don't. 😅

It's a pretty old and common game mechanic tbf. Braid (2008) comes to mind for platformers

This makes 0 sense. Even if he is speeding up when time is slowed down, why is he falling at the same speed before slow down? He can't possibly gravity faster. It makes no sense.
