Turns out the full node can travel light: same full verification and 97% less storage. We previously said substantially lower storage would require a separate light node with different security assumptions. Well, we got one thing wrong. Our upcoming upgrade delivers that reduction to the full nodes, with full... show more

Kaspa prices transactions by how much permanent storage they create A dust attack once flooded #Kaspa with tiny coin fragments that every full node must store forever. Unlike old blocks, which nodes can discard, these coin records never expire. KIP-9, a protocol rule co-authored by Kaspa's Michael Sutton, was the answer. Every transaction is charged on two scales, computation and storage, and pays whichever is higher. The storage charge climbs when value is split into small, scattered outputs, and falls to zero when coins merge into fewer equal ones. The result makes ledger bloat slow or expensive. Per the KIP's analysis, wasting 50GB of node storage in one day requires a budget of 125 million kaspa:native. On 100,000 KAS, it would take 750 years.

⚡️ Final date for the Node Sale is here! We're thrilled to announce the mint day, set for 5th April. 🗓️ We realised we are on par with many of the other projects in terms of product & traction but need more time to grow the community. So, we have added a special access for KOLs and carved out the entire Tier 5, 906 nodes, that they can get in presale. Note, our node sale is FCFS it starts at Tier 1 for the community and infact VCs get a Tier 7 allocation in presale. Public sale starts at 8am UTC 🕗

Destra Network| True decentralized Storage solution How Destra Decentralized File Storage solves the centralization issues in Filecoin & IPFS Filecoin and IPFS have become synonymous with decentralized file storage, highly hyped alternatives to traditional centralized data storage systems. However, a deep dive into their architecture reveals a crucially centralized component: both networks rely on a set of centralized bootstrap nodes. Whenever a new node wants to join the Filecoin or IPFS network, it must first communicate with these bootstrap nodes to obtain information about other peers, placing complete trust in the provided information. The Filecoin team operates these bootstrap nodes on centralized cloud servers. These nodes serve as the initial points of contact for new nodes entering the network, acting as directories to facilitate the network's mesh topology, and thus are critical components of the architecture. Major Centralization Concerns: 1. Surveillance: Centralized nodes offer a concentrated point for surveillance. Authorities or malicious actors could target these nodes to gather data on user activities, node interactions, and network dynamics, posing significant privacy risks. 2. Central Control and Censorship: The operators of bootstrap nodes potentially wield significant control over the network. They can influence which parts of the network are more discoverable or enforce certain network rules, leading to a form of gatekeeping. This centralized control contrasts with the decentralization ethos of blockchain and peer-to-peer technologies. 3. Single Points of Failure: Bootstrap nodes act as central hubs through which traffic and connections are often routed, especially during the initial connection phase. This setup can create single points of failure. If these nodes are compromised, go offline, or experience technical issues, new nodes may struggle to integrate into the network, potentially taking down the whole network. At Destra, we are building the Destra Decentralized File Storage to ensure that such centralization or pseudo-decentralization has no place in our architecture. As always, we are committed to our vision of 100% decentralization, delivering an unprecedented level of decentralization to our users and the broader ecosystem. As we continue developing the Destra Decentralized File Storage, we will keep on publishing regular updates to our community.

What Actually is Sei Network's “Giga” Upgrade? Sei Network’s (Sei) Giga upgrade is a major overhaul designed to make the network faster, more scalable and better suited for high-performance onchain trading. Put simply, Giga is rebuilding three critical parts of the blockchain: consensus, execution and storage. (1) The first track focuses on consensus, with upgrades such as Autobahn designed to improve how Sei validators agree on the state of the chain. (2) The Ares upgrade targets execution, the part of the blockchain responsible for actually processing transactions. (3) Eidos focuses on storage, which is becoming increasingly important as blockchain throughput rises. Why does storage matter? Every transaction a blockchain processes has to be recorded. If the database cannot write data as quickly as the network executes transactions, higher throughput eventually becomes meaningless. Eidos is designed to solve that bottleneck. (4) Sei plans to replace the traditional Merkle-tree structure used for EVM state with FlatKV, a flat key-value database where updating one piece of state requires essentially one write. A lattice hash, or LtHash, is then used to maintain a verifiable fingerprint of the entire state without repeatedly recalculating an entire hash path. (5) Eidos also separates live EVM state from other blockchain data. This means transactions accessing current state no longer have to compete with historical data for the same database resources. (6) Sei is also introducing LittDB-backed storage for blocks and receipts. These records are written once but queried repeatedly, making them a different workload from constantly changing blockchain state. Older historical data will eventually move away from active nodes into archival storage, allowing nodes to focus their resources on the data needed for real-time operations. The interesting part is how Sei plans to deploy all of this. Instead of shutting down the network and migrating the entire database at once, Eidos is designed to migrate storage while Sei continues producing blocks. The old and new systems can run side by side during the transition, with data moved in batches and integrity checks performed throughout the process. The first phase arrived on Sei mainnet with the v6.6 release in August 2026, beginning the separation of EVM state and introducing improvements to the pruning process. The broader Eidos architecture, including FlatKV, LtHash, the new receipt store and off-node archival storage, is expected to arrive through subsequent releases. Sei’s ultimate Giga target is 200,000 transactions per second. But reaching that kind of execution speed requires more than a faster transaction engine. The blockchain also needs a storage system capable of keeping up. That is essentially what Eidos is trying to build. Giga is not just about making Sei execute transactions faster. It is about rebuilding the infrastructure underneath that speed so the network can actually sustain it.

How Internet Computer contracts fetch web data without an oracle Smart contracts on DFINITY Foundation's Internet Computer can call ordinary web APIs directly, with no oracle service in between. The chain builds the trust step into its own consensus instead. Every node running the contract sends the same request, and more than two-thirds must agree on the reply before the contract can use it, per ICP's docs. On a standard 13-node subnet, that is 13 identical calls hitting the API at once. A contract-side transform strips the parts of a response that naturally differ, like timestamps, so honest nodes can match. internet-computer:native developers are told to add deduplication keys so servers don't process one request 10 times over.

Internet legends rarely get a second act. LimeWire might be one of them. If you were around in the early web era, you remember the name. LimeWire wasn’t just software. It’s where many people discovered music, shared files, and learned how the internet actually worked. Now LimeWire is building something very different. LimeWire Network is its decentralized storage layer on BNB Chain, built to compete with traditional cloud providers while staying permissionless and token powered. And the traction is already there. The ecosystem has crossed 5M+ users with over 400 TB stored, even before full decentralization. One monthly report recorded: • 13.77M new files uploaded • 497 TB shared • 2.1M active users Real usage. The $LMWR token powers payments, rewards node operators, and keeps incentives aligned across the network. Most decentralized storage projects fight for adoption. LimeWire starts with something you cannot fabricate quickly: global recognition. People already trust the name. That familiarity lowers the barrier to entry and creates a real expansion advantage. Legacy awareness paired with live infrastructure and token utility is uncommon. Running on BNB Chain also gives the network room to scale if growth continues. The real signal is the transition. LimeWire is no longer just part of internet history. It is being rebuilt as infrastructure. Worth watching closely. Are you paying attention to LimeWire because of the nostalgia, the network growth, or the long term role of LMWR? What pulled you in first?

There’s a reason the LimeWire name still hits people instantly. If you were around in the early internet days, LimeWire was everywhere. Music discovery, file sharing, chaos, excitement. It shaped how a whole generation interacted with the web. That kind of brand memory doesn’t fade and LimeWire is proving it can be reused in a serious way. What’s different now is the foundation. LimeWire Network is the decentralized storage layer of LimeWire, built on BNB Chain. It is not a nostalgia project. It is infrastructure. Storage, transfers, and usage are happening on chain, designed to scale for real applications rather than demos. The growth backs that up. Looking at recent data on lmwrscan, LimeWire Network has already moved into tens of terabytes of stored data, with tens of thousands of uploads and consistent daily activity. Network usage keeps climbing, not spiking once and disappearing. That kind of curve usually shows real users, not incentive farming. And the economics are clear. The $LMWR token sits at the center of the system. Users pay in LMWR to use storage. Node operators earn LMWR for providing resources. Rewards and payments stay inside the ecosystem instead of leaking out to third parties. That loop matters. Most decentralized storage networks struggle because nobody knows they exist. LimeWire doesn’t have that problem. The brand alone opens doors, pulls attention, and lowers the friction for new users to try the product. When you combine that with live usage data and a functioning token economy, the upside starts to look asymmetric. Built on BNB Chain, LimeWire Network also gets the scalability needed if adoption keeps accelerating. That choice signals intent to grow, not just experiment. This feels like a rare case where nostalgia is not the product, it is the distribution layer. Curious how you see it. Are you watching LimeWire because of the brand comeback, the LimeWire Network growth, or the role of the LMWR token in the long run?

Over the past five years IonQ has expanded our business from leadership in quantum computing to become the world’s leading quantum platform solution and merchant supplier. We have been an innovator at every stage. As we evolved, we grew our revenue, capabilities, and now engineering solutions—opening growth opportunities across every part of the platform. We are uniquely positioned as the only company that delivers a full suite of quantum products: our computing, networking, sensing, and security solutions are each industry-leading. With SkyWater Technology now closed, IonQ is the only vertically integrated, full-stack quantum platform and the largest merchant supplier to the U.S. and allied quantum ecosystem. SkyWater provides a capital-light way to scale, with proven U.S.-based fabricators bringing critical chip capacity onshore at a moment when moving onshore matters more than ever. This is reflected in our updated full-year 2026 guidance of $450 million to $460 million, which highlights both the market traction of our quantum platform and the foundational manufacturing scale provided by SkyWater. Biomapper c1 SDK has been deployed on Base, making its private and secure uniqueness verification available for all of their builder community! For those who are new to Biomapper, the Humanode Biomapper is one of the core tools of Humanode, a cryptobiometric Layer-1 Blockchain where one human = one node = one vote, known for its use of private biometrics to fight Sybil attacks. With Biomapper c1 now available on Base, Base builders and developers will now be able to add biometric-based Sybil resistance to their apps and services with just a few lines of code. We will be releasing in-depth guides for developers on Base who are interested in utilizing the Biomapper, but you can also delve into SDK right now as well! 🔥 Phoenix is officially live on Solaris AI Flow. You can now trade Phoenix perps inside a Solaris AI workflow. No code. Drop a node onto the canvas, pick an operation, and wire it to anything: AI signals, price feeds, schedules, alerts. The full order-book DEX from Ellipsis Labs, now programmable. Built so you can trade with confidence: ✦ Paper mode is on by default. Every order is checked and simulated against the live order book, real depth and real slippage, but nothing is signed or broadcast. ✦ Paper behaves exactly like Live. If an order would be rejected on-chain, it is rejected in simulation too. No false fills, no surprises. ✦ Going Live is one switch, and it asks for confirmation before any real funds move. Build it. Test it. Trade it. A full perps strategy, proven on paper before a single dollar moves. 30 operations in one node: ✦ Read live markets, order book depth, candles, and funding rates ✦ Track your positions, collateral, and PnL, realized and unrealized ✦ Place limit, market, and stop-loss orders, plus conditional triggers ✦ Cancel orders, manage margin, and move collateral, all from the workflow No scripts. No backend. No terminal to babysit. Just a workflow that trades. You can try it for free. Demo + Link down below 👇
